Dear Neighbor,

On Saturday evening in Groton City, the Groton Tower Apartments caught on fire. My heart is with those who have been affected by this tragedy.

Those impacted can contact Groton Human Services, located at 2 Fort Hill Rd in Groton. You can also call 860-441-6760 or email humanser@groton-ct.gov. Human Services is open M-F 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. (Human Services Building pictured below)

For individuals who are willing to help, Groton Human Services is currently taking donations of food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, gift cards, and cash. Please wait on donating clothing as the needs of those affected is changing.

For those in need, whether it’s those affected by the towers, the government shutdown, or just need some help getting by, please contact my office at 860-240-8585 or via email at Dan.Gaiewski@cga.ct.gov. Together we can overcome anything!

It is my honor to serve the residents of the 40th District and I am here for you. If you have any questions or in need of assistance yourself you can reply directly to this email.

Sincerely,

Dan Gaiewski
State Representative
