Dear Neighbor,

On Saturday evening, a building in the Ledges Apartments caught on fire. My heart is with those who have been affected by this tragedy. After communicating with the Red Cross on the ground, the community needs our help, and Groton Human Services will be the place where you can donate things!

Starting tomorrow at 8:30am, Groton Human Services (2 Fort Hill Road, Groton, CT, United States, 06340) will take donations of food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, gift cards, and cash. Please wait on donating clothing as the needs of those affected is changing.

You can call 860-441-6760 or email mailto:humanser@groton-ct.gov. Human Services is open M-F 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. (Human Services Building pictured below)

For those in need, whether it’s those affected by the fire, or just need some help getting by, please contact my office at 860-240-8585 or via email at mailto:Dan.Gaiewski@cga.ct.gov. Together we can overcome anything!

It is my honor to serve the residents of the 40th District and I am here for you. If you have any questions or in need of assistance yourself you can reply directly to this email.

Sincerely,

Dan Gaiewski
State Representative
