The Legislative Session is well underway. Bills have been proposed and hearings have begun.

Yesterday’s transition between Presidential administrations was a profound moment in history which one commentator called both commonplace and miraculous.

Today I want to fill you in on the new legislative session, update you on vaccines and touch base about the vandalism in our own community as well as the violence at the U.S. Capitol.

For many people this is not the most wonderful time, whether due to stress, the pain of loss or a lack of connection. This year in particular, we are ending a year of collective trauma.
