Like other national tragedies and traumatic events, we all remember where we were eight years ago today when 20 first graders and 6 educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School were killed.

Earlier today I had the opportunity to join a Zoom with Dr. Reginald Eadie, CEO of Trinity Health of New England, to learn more about Operation Warp Speed and the vaccination approval process.

Thanks to those of you who have already responded about the Rooster River. Town Engineer Bill Hurley let me know about a meeting happening TONIGHT.

As we continue to deal with the direct impact of the pandemic, state and local government work continues on projects in many other areas. I hope you’ll take a look below at how you can provide input and support.

Earlier today, I had the opportunity to participate in a virtual conference with Dr. Leana Wen, physician, public health professor and contributor to some national news outlets.

House Speaker-designate Matt Ritter and House Majority Leader Jason Rojas today appointed Cristin McCarthy Vahey House chair of the Planning and Development Committee.

There is always a lot of information to share with all of you. As I have throughout this pandemic, I will remind you to please wear your masks, maintain six feet of distance and avoid any gatherings with people outside your home.
