Connecticut high school seniors with good grades can now earn automatic admission to several public and private colleges and universities through a new state initiative that makes applying to college easier.

It was an honor to wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating a historic moment for Connecticut and for Indigenous people everywhere with the passage of House Resolution 10 (H.R. 10), a measure proudly making Connecticut one of the first states in the nation to formally recognize and preserve the culture and heritage of Taíno descendants.
