My Bill, Your Care: HB6147 Advances on the Insurance Committee

I’m excited to share that today on the Insurance Committee, we unanimously voted to raise House Bill 6147 An Act Concerning Coverage for Medically Necessary Treatment in this State – the very bill I introduced after hearing about Daniel Pearson’s story. Daniel’s fight against insurance denials for life-saving care opened my eyes to the urgent need for change, and his courage inspired this legislation.
