Weekly Legislative Update 03/21
March 21, 2025I hope this message finds you and your family doing well and enjoying the first few days of spring! I had another busy week attending events around the Capitol and finishing reviewing bills with my colleagues in our committees. As committee meetings and public hearings wrap up, I continue to talk with my colleagues, advocacy groups, and residents about the issues we need to address this session.

March 7, 2025It was another exciting week at the Capitol as committee meetings and public hearings are taking place and the House was back in Session on Wednesday, March 5th. It is always an honor to continue to serve our community and to be able to have critical conversations with my colleagues about the work we are doing to benefit residents across the state.
Legislative Session Updates
February 28, 2025I had an eventful week at the Capitol! On Monday 02/24, the House went into Session at 5 pm. We held a vote on two bills that addressed issues including Special Education Funding, Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans, and Community Funding Grants. Further down in this email you will find more information on what was passed as a part of these bills.

My colleagues and I have been busy reviewing legislation and listening to testimony in committee public hearings as bills are moving through the legislative process.

February 7, 2025I hope this email finds you and your family well. I had a busy week at the capitol in a Joint Session for Governor Lamont's Budget address and doing committee work. I am spending my time in meetings and hearings, where my colleagues and I are reviewing bills and working to move them through the legislative process.
Upcoming House Session
January 24, 2025I had a busy week at the capitol in committee meetings and working with my colleagues on proposed bills and concepts. We've worked on many critical ideas that will move to public hearings, where your input and contributions are essential. I'm excited to continue our work in committees and with my colleagues to pass key legislation this session.
