Honoring First Selectman Jay Swan

I am very sad to learn of the passing of Town of Woodstock First Selectman Jay Swan. Jay was a dedicated Public servant whom I enjoyed working with during the good times and some of the more challenging times. He and I shared a common background of Scouting, and he once held the Camp Director role that I now hold at June Norcross Webster SR in Ashford. Jay ran for office to give back, and he served the town well as the First Selectman and a Constable for many years. My condolences go out to Sue and his entire family. I will miss him and am proud to have counted him as a friend. This picture is from back in 2021 at Sweet Evalina's.
