Passing an Agreement Between the State and PAC Workers

March 27, 2024

The General Assembly met for another session day, and the highlight of what we approved was the negotiated agreement with the Personal Assisted Care (PAC) Workers. These workers are the front line to ensure both the safe and comfortable living of our elderly and disabled loved ones.

We must make sure the conditions of their work and the compensation they receive reflects our value of these workers. Without them, we would not be able to commit to senior care in the legislature so sincerely.

I was proud to vote to approve these negotiated agreement so that PAC workers can feel safe and appreciated, as well as be able to afford to live.

You can find the agreement HERE.
