Providing information to Connecticut residents
For the most up-to-date information from the State of Connecticut on COVID-19, including guidance and other resources, all residents in the state are encouraged to visit ct.gov/coronavirus.

In order to alleviate any financial burden caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) announced that the filing deadline for some annual tax returns will be extended, effective immediately.

If you are a worker and find yourself unable to go to work, or if you are an employer and need to temporarily close your business, the following information will help answer most of the frequently asked questions.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) scenario changes rapidly. Please visit ct.gov/Coronavirus for latest updates. The website is updated regularly with the state's response to COVID-1. It also includes the latest figures on testing for the virus and the locations where patients have turned up positive. And the Centers for Disease Control has a wealth of information about the virus on its website.

Disconnect Suspensions. For electric, gas, and water companies not municipally owned, disconnecting service will not happen during the Governor’s state of emergency.​
