CT families still have time to apply for the 2022 Connecticut Child Tax Rebate that was included in this year's state budget which is providing residents with a state tax rebate of up to $250 per qualifying child for a maximum of three children. Qualifying households must fill out an application to receive the benefit. 

Those who are experiencing a mental health crisis no longer need to remember 1-800-273-8255 or wait hours for help. They can now call or text the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, to connect with mental health professionals who are trained to respond to these emergencies.

This past session, we extended the eligibility for the PACT free community college program to part-time students and are encouraging as many students as possible to apply before the priority consideration deadline of July 15th.
