Virtual Town Halls on School Reopening and Senior Issues this Thursday
July 14, 2020On Thursday July 16th I will be hosting two Zoom Virtual Town Halls - I hope you will be able to join me! At 1p.m. I will be discussing key issues affecting seniors in today’s world with some fabulous panelists who are experts in this field. Later that afternoon at 5p.m., I will be examining the state’s school reopening plan with some local district superintendents.
Department of Transportation update: Safety Improvement Project on Rt. 7
July 9, 2020I received the notice below from the CT Department of Transportation about a project on Route 7 in Norwalk. There will be lane closures between July 20th and September 11th during this construction, so please read the notice to avoid the traffic!
Phase 3 Reopening Update
July 8, 2020Although Connecticut has done a great job containing the COVID virus, cases are spiking in other parts of the country that have eased quarantine restrictions. As a precaution, Governor Lamont announced that Phase 3 of reopening, which was expected to roll out on July 20th, has been delayed indefinitely.

School Re-Opening Plan for the Fall
July 1, 2020I am very happy to share that Governor Ned Lamont and Education Commissioner Miguel Cardona have developed a plan that will allow schools to safely re-open this fall.
DMV Reopens - Limited service
June 25, 2020The Department of Motor Vehicles is up and rolling again, though on a limited, appointment-only basis following a plan it developed for reopening this week.
