Raymark Waste is mixture of manufacturing biproducts buried in soil containing varying levels of chemicals including asbestos, lead, copper and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The waste poses no risk when buried, however exposure can happen over time whether because of man-made disruptions or ground surface erosions.
A hybrid meeting of the Raymark Community Advisory Group will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 6:30PM-8PM. Those wishing to attend online can do so by clicking here, or stop by in-person at the Raymark Cleanup Headquarters (300 Ferry Blvd, Stratford).
For more information on the project, including upcoming virtual public meeting dates, visit the EPA's website, the EPA's Raymark Facebook page, or the Town's Facebook Page.
