Today is National Women’s Equality Day, commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment which granted women the right to vote. Today we celebrate the great strides we have made, in Connecticut and throughout the country, and reflect on the continued fight for gender equality and women’s rights.

I began serving my second term in January representing New London's 39^th House District and this year has been the most productive and relevant to Southeastern Connecticut and the state overall.

Today is the final day of the General Assembly's 2021 regular session. The gavel comes down at midnight ending a productive year in the legislature.
