Kicking off the 2026 Legislative Session, Session Resources, and more

The Connecticut General Assembly kicked off the 2026 Legislative Session this Wednesday. During a Joint Session Wednesday afternoon, House and Senate members sat together in the House Chamber as Governor Lamont delivered the State of the State Address. Thursday afternoon, the House was back in session to vote on the Governor's recently proposed plan to allow the Emergency State Response Reserve to continue through the 2027 fiscal year.
