This week, on Tuesday, September 2nd, and Thursday, September 4th, I was in Hartford at the State Capitol for meetings and hearings about federal funding cuts and how they will impact Connecticut. In this week's email, I'll share some of the information I received during the meetings in addition to state resources you and your family members may find useful. August 29, 2025Happy Back-to-School Week to all our Stratford students, families, teachers, and faculty! I was honored to attend the Stratford Public Schools Convocation on Monday, August 25th. It was a truly inspiring event! All of the speakers emphasized a consistent theme: creating and fostering an environment to help our children find and use their voice.

August 15, 2025It was a busy week here in Stratford, filled with updates from the CT DOT on the extensive road work and repairs happening around town, to visiting local community organizations, meeting with local leaders, and hosting my summer in district coffee hour at the Blackbirds Nest.

August 1, 2025Happy first day of August! There are several state and local announcements in this week's email that you may find helpful. CT DOT milling and resurfacing along Main Street (Rt. 113) continues and is estimated to be complete by August 6th. I will be announcing additional community office hours in next week's email in an effort to provide in-person opportunities to meet with constituents here in Stratford.
