Speaker of the House Matt Ritter (D-Hartford) and House Majority Leader Jason Rojas (D-East Hartford, Manchester) today announced the appointments of Rep. Jeff Currey (D-East Hartford, Manchester, South Windsor) as House Chair of the Education Committee.
The East Hartford State Legislative Delegation, which includes House Majority Leader Jason Rojas (D – East Hartford, Manchester), State Representatives Jeff Currey (D – East Hartford, Manchester, South Windsor) and Henry Genga (D – East Hartford) and State Senator Saud Anwar (D – South Windsor), announced the town will receive more than $3 million in state funds as the State Bond Commission approved allocations during today's meeting.

As I mentioned in the last eblast, the Legislature held a special session today to further address and help alleviate some of the stressors that families throughout our district and our state may continue to face as we move through the winter and holiday season.
