October 25, 2024I was thrilled to see our district receive funding from the State Bond Commission for the following projects:
$35,937,308 for Gold Star Bridge rehabilitation on I-95 Groton/New London
$250,000 for the City of New London for the planning for the redevelopment of Gordon Court senior housing
$250,000 for the Southeastern Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence, Inc. for planning for a community for individuals in recovery on Coit and Reed Streets in New London
By supporting our most vulnerable through funding for senior housing and services for those recovering from addiction, all residents of New London will see major benefits that will uplift our community.

October 18, 2024As Veterans & Military Affairs House Chair, I had the opportunity to speak at Veterans Rally Point, where Comcast awarded $50,000 to Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern CT to support digital skills training for the military community. October 11, 2024This week I joined The United Way and non-profit community leaders and colleagues to unveil their latest policy agenda for 2025 at the State Capitol on Tuesday.
Their goal is to help income-constrained families. According to the United Way, Connecticut is the only state in the nation that taxes a family’s income but does not provide them with tax relief to offset the high cost of raising children.

I was glad to see, hear and answer questions in regards to the job as a State Representative, why I decided to do what I do, and some bills I've been involved with. A great day.

Lead Water Line Replacement Update, and more
September 6, 2024In the last month New London ― Federal, state and local officials gathered in regards to $7 million in federal dollars to help the lead water line replacement project of the dangerous material in pipes buried throughout the City of New London, Connecticut.
This was part of President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure funding that will help replace around 150 lead service lines while completing ongoing inspection of homes and water lines from the streets.
