I had the honor of participating at several Connecticut Veterans Stand Down events where I thanked our veterans for their service. This annual gathering brings together federal, state, local, and community organizations to provide one-stop access to vital services for veterans.

I had the solemn honor of attending the dedication of the Jude Lane overpass above I-84 in Southington, now officially named the Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier Memorial Bridge.

I sat down with the editor-in-chief of The Southington Outsider, a recently launched online newspaper. Its mission is to provide trusted local news and build community, covering everything from local history and school events to features, sports, town elections, and more.

Students have returned to the classroom, and as they acclimate, I'm proud to announce that Southington’s own Kim Padroff has been named a 2026 Connecticut Teacher of the Year Semifinalist.

I was honored to present a citation on behalf of the Southington delegation commemorating the Barnes Museum’s 50th anniversary.

I’ve visited more than 1,000 homes and attended numerous local events across the 81st District—listening, learning, and taking notes on the issues that matter most to you. These conversations have been candid, thoughtful, and often inspiring.

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the 22nd Annual Taste of Southington at the Barnes Museum. The event brought together a fantastic lineup of local restaurants and food trucks, with everything from BBQ and tacos to sweets and Polish specialties.
