Last week, the CDC released new guidance for fully vaccinated individuals. In accordance with these guidelines, the State of Connecticut has announced that as of May 19, fully vaccinated individuals will no longer need to wear masks or face coverings indoors or outdoors.

The pandemic has made is clear that we need to make sure everyone has access to high-speed internet. We are currently working on legislation to reduce the costs of internet service, make it more reliable and faster, and increase consumer protections. HB 6442, which was proposed by the Governor, was recently approved by both the Energy and Technology Committee and the Appropriations Committee and now heads to the floor of the House.

House to Act on Expanding Voter Access

Speaker of the House Matt Ritter announced that the House of Representatives will be acting on legislation that sets the stage to allow for early voting and no-excuse absentee ballots in Connecticut in order to increase voter participation in our elections.
