I hope you and your family have been staying cool these past few days! It was an eventful week around Stratford, where I had the opportunity to attend several local events and meet with residents.

This week I had the opportunity to meet and speak with residents across Stratford and spend time in the 120th District. My work continues in representing you. My priority year round is advocating for Stratford and meeting the needs of my constituents. Friday, June 20th, the Appropriations and Human Services committees convened for a public hearing on the Birth to Three Waiver Renewal. With the 2025 legislative session behind us, I've had the opportunity to spend more time here in Stratford, attending local events and engaging directly with residents. In case you missed last week's email, I wanted to thank you all for your support this session. We were able to pass meaningful legislation benefiting our residents that will deliver real results for working families, children, seniors, veterans, and communities like Stratford.

Last night, June 4th, the House of Representatives adjourned the 2025 legislative session at midnight. It was an exciting—and incredibly busy—session at the Capitol, during which we successfully passed a number of important bills.

Happy Sunday! We are moving into the final stretch of the legislative session. This past week, the House was in session Tuesday through Saturday, debating and voting on crucial bills from the early morning to late night. With our last few days coming up, I remain dedicated to passing legislation that will benefit Stratford’s residents. There is still time if you are concerned about certain legislation that has yet to be voted on, and I encourage you to email me so that I can take your feedback into consideration before voting. It is an honor to serve as your State Representative and be one of the voices for Stratford residents at our State Capitol.

The House was busy in session again this week on Tuesday, May 13th, Wednesday, May 14th, and Thursday, May 15th. The speed of session is picking up, as most days, we stay late into the night and pass more legislation each day. In this week's newsletter, you will find information on several key bills passed this week, resources for Seniors, and local Stratford updates.

The House was back in session on Wednesday, May 7th, and Thursday, May 8th. After debate ensued, we were able to pass­­ a range of bills tackling key legislation that addresses several residents' priorities across the state. As we move through the remainder of the legislative session, I will continue to work across the aisle to push for policies that will benefit our communities.
