State Representative Pat Boyd (D-Pomfret) secured $75,000 in state funding allocated for the Eastford Independent Fire Department during the 2025 Legislative Session. The Connecticut General Assembly approved this funding as part of the 2026-2027 State Budget.

I hope this message finds you and your family well! As we wrap up the legislative session, the House has been debating and voting on crucial bills late into the night. During our last few days, I have continued to stay dedicated to passing legislation that will benefit our residents. It was another busy week at the Capitol as committee meetings and public hearings are wrapping up.
