No one should have to choose between missing an important family event, going in to work sick and exposing others or taking a mental health day when needed.

Veterans put their lives on the line for our country and the House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would support veterans who have been disabled during service. This is a small way to say “thank you for your service."

As we navigate the final month of this year’s legislative session, I am proud to report that many of our legislative priorities are undergoing the final stages of becoming laws.
