Supporting the Childcare Industry

Childcare workers have always been an essential part of our economy. While we have done much in recent years to support them, we can clearly can do even more to help increase pay, hire and retain quality staff, and increase the number of kids programs can support. I was happy to offer my support at a rally earlier this week.

Traffic Control Signal Project In Stratford

March 9, 2022

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will begin replacing traffic control signals to meet current standards in Stratford at the intersection of Main Street and Access Road. Work will begin on or about April 1, 2022.

The project includes the removal of the existing control signal and the installation of new control signals to meet current standards. Some preliminary layout work will begin prior to April 1.

Route 8 Sign Replacement

Bond Commission Approves Funding Request For Raymark Site

December 23, 2021

You may have heard last week that my $2.5 million bonding request for groundwater and soil remediation at the Raymark superfund site was added to the State Bond Commission's meeting agenda. Earlier today, the Commission held its meeting to vote on the allocation of the requested funds for our community and it was approved.
