Thanks to everyone who attended the constituent coffee in Avon this past weekend, and especially, thanks to Beanz & Co. for hosting us.

I hope you're staying as cool as you can in yet another heat wave. This weekend promises to be better, and I hope you'll kick it off Saturday morning with me and Senator Paul Honig at 9 a.m. at Beanz & Company. We will be going over the major bills that passed this session, and if the turnout in Canton when we did this is any indication, it could be packed!

Thanks to all of you who packed the house at Little Oak Cafe this past Saturday. On my surveys, I heard a lot about how important in-person and online events are to you, and that’s why I plan these coffee talks. Our next one is Saturday, July 19, at 9 a.m. at Beanz and Co. in Avon.

The heat has gone from typical summer to dangerous in a very short period. Please remember that Avon and Canton have options available to you if you do not have air conditioning or if yours is broken.

Writing you today from the ark we are building in our backyard—or at least it feels that way after 17 weekends in a row of rain! I don't know about your gardens, but my tomatoes and zucchini plants are ready for the sun.

Over the weekend, I heard that we had 15 straight weekends in a row of rain. I know we had a similar statistic last year at one point, but the rain won’t stop us from all of the fantastic events coming up this weekend. It may, however, stop my tomatoes from flowering!

Last night, we adjourned the 2025 legislative session. I hope to detail more of the good legislation we passed as we go through the summer, especially when the Office of Legislative Research report comes out in a few weeks.
