Governor Lamont Friday issued his 29^th executive order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The order now states that beginning tonight, cloth face coverings or a higher level of protection are required in public wherever close contact is unavoidable.

Have you lost your health care coverage? You may qualify for coverage through Access Health CT. The Special Enrollment Deadline is tomorrow, March 17. You'll need the following documents to verify your eligibility:

• Social Security number
• Citizenship / Immigration status
• Tax returns (to estimate payment amount)
• Employer information
• Healthcare coverage information

We're hopeful that this will reduce chance of contagion -- if everyone plays by the rules!

Relief is on the way for Connecticut mortgage holders economically impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The Lamont administration has come to an agreement with over 50 banks and credit unions to offer mortgage relief to state residents and businesses who continue to face hardship due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
 

Great debate on curbing the vaping epidemic. I'm proud that the House passed this critical bill on a bipartisan basis.
