Representative Linehan’s Art Display!
I’m looking for young artists to display their work in my Capitol office! I have this big office, and I haven’t put anything of my own up on the walls. I realized that’s because, as Chair of the Children’s Committee, this office doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to the kids I represent. Will you help me decorate it? Fill out this form to enter. All mediums accepted. Please include a short biography of the artist. I will pay for framing if needed. Any child under 18 in Cheshire, Southington, or Wallingford is welcome to submit. Winners will be chosen August 6th, and all artists and their parents will be invited to tour the Capitol with me, and see the artwork on a special tour. Please help inspire creativity for kids at the Capitol!
Example of submission: Finnegan is a first grader from Cheshire. This piece was made as a kindergartner to celebrate the 100th day of school. It is 100 post-it notes of various colors. It is oversized, on foam board, and doesn’t need to be framed.
