Next Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm UConn will be hosting a webinar panel discussions on Youth Car Theft in CT: Trends and Steps to Improve Public Safety. The webinar is directed at establishing the facts of youth car thefts and possible next steps to address the issue. I believe the panel is well-rounded, with a Deputy Chief of Police, State's Attorney, policy experts and more. My hope is that we can cut through the rhetoric to really address the issue, backed by real data, to make an actionable difference.
