On March 20 from 10-11 a.m., Join me and Commissioner Thomas Saadi from the Connecticut Department of Veteran Affairs for Veterans Coffee Hour at Calendar House Senior Center presented by the Town of Southington Veterans Service Office.

I proudly presented Southington Deputy Police Chief William Palmieri with an Official Citation from the Connecticut General Assembly as he was honored by the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA as its Person of the Year at the Aqua Turf Club.

It is important that we continue to build upon past legislative successes that have allowed Connecticut to keep moving forward, and we voted to continue one of these successes by securing the fiscal guardrails that have allowed the state to cut taxes, invest in families and the economy, pay down debt, and save for the future.

I was proud to recently testify during a public hearing for the Committee on Children alongside Southington residents, Steve Greenier and Robert Farler, in an effort to advocate for Connecticut’s adopted children and their families.

This month, I was sworn in for my first term at the State Capitol representing the 81st District, which covers Southington, my hometown.

I am grateful and humbled to represent the 81st District and confident that my work in Hartford will positively impact residents of Southington. The culture of our community wants someone representing them who does not compromise their values and works hard for everyone.
