This week, at the opening of the legislative session, I took the oath of office and was sworn in as State Representative for the 81st District. I am honored to continue to represent the people of Southington in the General Assembly and I look forward to hearing your ideas and comments as we move through the session.

As we gear up for the 2025 legislative session set to begin Jan. 8, I want to wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy New Year. It's a privilege to represent the 81st District at the State Capitol and I look forward to another productive session.

As the holiday season wraps us in its warmth, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you. The holidays are a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness — a moment to cherish the bonds that unite us as a community. 

This week, I had the privilege of visiting the Southington Armory, where Southington Community Services organizes their annual Christmas gift drive. I was extremely impressed by the well-coordinated operation, which will provide more than 500 households with a bag of presents, including a gift for each family member. They also have a room of extra gifts available for last-minute needs or requests.

IT’S OFFICIAL! Last Saturday, I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Southington Public Library.

This week, I had the privilege of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Hartford HealthCare's expanded cancer care at the Bradley Memorial Campus of The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, and I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for our community, the joy of shared moments and the support that surrounds us.

Last weekend, I attended the 40th Anniversary celebration of Southington’s Gishrei Shalom Jewish Congregation. While I was privileged to present an official citation on behalf of Southington’s legislative delegation honoring their many accomplishments, their true legacy lies within the kind and generous spirit that the Congregation’s members have exhibited during the past four decades.
