The House of Representatives approved $17 million in additional cold weather heating assistance funds.

I am deeply concerned about Connecticut's eviction crisis. In the past year there has been a 5% increase in evictions compared to an average pre-pandemic year. I will do all I can to help constituents avoid going through that horrible process.

The Latino and Puerto Rican community came together for an amazing, sold-out summit of legislators, educators, advocates, and constituents to unveil the top Latino priorities of 2024.

The state is listening to Latino voices ahead of the 2024 legislative session. UConn professors are touring Latino communities including Waterbury to get input from our residents. And, My colleagues and I highlighted a new law providing compensation and benefits to firefighters diagnosed with cancer.
