Starting February 1st, 2026, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will begin charging a $45 fee for air travelers who arrive at airport security without a Real ID or another acceptable form of identification, such as a valid passport or trusted traveler card. Travelers will be charged this fee to use TSA's ConfirmID identification verification system.

Because of a blast of arctic air expected to blanket Connecticut over the next several days, the state's severe cold weather protocol is in effect through Tuesday, December 9.

Great news! The City of Norwalk will receive $800,000 in state funding through Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Community Connectivity Grant Program. The funds will be used for East Wall Street Streetscape Improvements.

The House held a special session on Wednesday. We passed several pieces of legislation, but I wanted to focus on the housing bill that was many months in the making.
