Sales Tax-Free Week begins Sunday. That's a big week around these parts, and this is the 26th edition! What a great time to save money as the start of school approaches, and you can even treat yourself to something nice.

Today, the Insurance and Real Estate Committee convened a working group to explore how Connecticut pharmacists can be fairly compensated for providing clinical services like vaccinations, HIV and flu testing, and contraceptive prescribing.

The CTDOT will be hosting a Public Information Meeting for a project that will merge sidewalks to both sides of Route 99, representing a significant safety and accessibility upgrade for our area! The meeting will take place on Tuesday at the Rocky Hill Community/Senior Center at 5 p.m.

The final days of the 2025 Session are among us. We have our share of work to do before the session ends on Wednesday, including the budget, which is looming large but I am proud to have supported meaningful pieces of legislation that will have a positive impact on all of our lives going forward.
