New Laws Effective Jan. 1
December 30, 2024I want to wish you a Happy New Year! I look forward to serving you and the residents of Connecticut during the 2025 legislative session, which begins on January 8th. On that note, I want to point out several new laws passed during the 2024 session that will go into effect on Wednesday, January 1.

November 14, 2024The Transforming Children's Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee (TCB), of which I am one of the tri-chairs, had its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday in Hartford and it featured a "data spotlight" with updates from our mobile and urgent crisis centers as well as youth inpatient psychiatric, behavioral health emergency department and psychiatric residential treatment facility utilization.
