Efficiency For All Celebration
April 15, 2024Earlier this month, I joined Congressman John Larson, State Reps Garibay, Reyes and Napoli for a celebration of Leticia Colon de Mejias and her Windsor based organization Efficiency For All. EFA is a Connecticut nonprofit that was founded in 2017 by a concerned group of minority energy workers and community Environmental Justice advocates, who sought to address the lack of minority representation in the clean energy industry.
Passport to CT Libraries Program is Now Open
April 9, 2024Stop by your local library for an awesome campaign called Passport to Connecticut Libraries, which encourages everyone to read! Begin your journey by picking up a library passport at one of 150 participating libraries. Make sure to get it stamped before visiting other libraries and doing the same there. Each participant will receive a small gift at each new library.

HB 5004: A Climate & Legislative Priority
March 27, 2024I'm excited to share my commitment to protecting the environment and working to combat climate change. HB 5004 "An Act Concerning the Implementation of Certain Climate Change Measures," was subject to an Environment Committee public hearing on March 8 and was passed out of the Environment Committee 23-11 last week. It now heads to the House Floor for consideration.
