The House took action approving a resolution that would include a ballot question to amend the State Constitution to allow for an in-person early voting system. Once the resolution gets final legislative approval, the question will appear on the November 2020 ballot for voters to decide if Connecticut should implement it.

The representatives will discuss issues addressed during the 2018 legislative session along with any state-wide issues that are important to the residents of Hampton and the surrounding region.

It was great to host advocacy day for fire service professionals to stress the importance of supporting the funding for the indispensable public safety services they provide. We need to continue our support and keep Fire and EMS on the budgetary priority list.
