I joined students and teachers for Read Across America Day at Franklin School in Stratford.

I believe every student in Connecticut should have the opportunity to get a college education without worrying how to afford it.

Connecticut is home to a wide variety of products we can all be proud of – and that’s why we passed a bill last year requiring the Department of Economic and Community Development to create a “Connecticut Made” logo as an attractive marketing tool.

The State Bond Commission approved a $1.5 million to help alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety near the entrance of Sikorsky Aircraft.

I am pleased to announce the launching of Passport to Parks Program, a new initiative that will support services at our local state parks while allowing free access to Connecticut residents and their families.

I reached out to the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management...urging them to reconsider the possibility of leasing, developing, and producing oil and gas from the Atlantic Ocean.
