Over the past 6 weeks, the committee process has been in full swing. I am grateful for your input and ideas shared through public hearings, e-mails, phone calls and my favorite, in person conversations.

This Friday, there are two hearings I would like to highlight, the Planning and Development Committee and the Joint Public Health and Children’s Committee hearing on children’s mental health.

Together with Representative Leeper I am happy to re-start something we had done a few years back, a Youth Advisory Council.

On Friday I learned that TOMORROW, the Legislature will hold an Informational Hearing on the Continuation of Emergency Declarations and Limited Executive Orders from 9AM - 3PM via Zoom. You can watch the hearing on YouTube live, or on CT-N.

In just over 2 weeks, the General Assembly will be back in session. I’d love to hear from you about your priorities.

On Wednesday, February 2nd, during two separate time-blocks, I will host office hours, scheduling one-on-one or small group meetings for 20 minutes.

The Fairfield Health Department, which has been working tirelessly since the pandemic began, will hold two vaccination clinics this week.

I know you’ve been hearing from me a little more frequently these days, but with Omicron spreading quickly, I want to be sure you have information that can help you safely navigate this holiday week in particular.
