Great news! As House Chair of Connecticut General Assembly’s Bonding Subcommittee, I worked closely with Governor Ned Lamont and Speaker of the House Matt Ritter to secure nearly $17.5 million in funding for Waterbury from the State Bond Commission for a number of city projects.

It’s that time again when we start winding down the summer and begin back-to-school preparations; I want to share news and events that will ease that transition for the upcoming school year.

Connecticut recently got a national shout-out for adopting a state budget that includes a variety of tax cuts for those who need the most help such as working families and retirees.

Great news! CareerConneCT is expanding its intake portal. The goal of CareerConneCT is to provide underemployed and unemployed Connecticut residents with resources and training necessary for the pursuit of a well-paying, high-quality career path. The program provides free job training, case management, supportive services, and employment assistance.

It is an honor to be appointed as House Chair of the General Bonding Subcommittee of Finance, Revenue and Bonding by Speaker of the House Matt Ritter and Majority Leader Jason Rojas (D-East Hartford, Manchester). This is the first-ever appointment of a Waterbury state representative or senator as Chair of the Bonding Subcommittee.
