Legislation was recently signed into law making all public transportation FREE in Connecticut throughout April, May and June of 2022. It's a great opportunity to save money at the pump and explore the benefits of public transportation.

The State Bond Commission is anticipated to approve $1.3 million for the creation of the Thames River Innovation Center, which will be located at 92 Eugene O’Neill Drive and will provide job training, apprenticeships, and business development opportunities for workers and entrepreneurs in our region.

I was proud to stand with my legislative colleagues, child care providers, and advocates in calling for immediate assistance to childcare centers across our state. 

The House just passed HB 5271 to extend the popular provision through next year and further allow restaurants the ability to safely rebuild their customer base.

This week at the Capitol, I testified at the Committee on Children's public hearing in regards to two important pieces of legislation.

My colleagues and I have worked collaboratively on a bipartisan bill to provide additional support, resources and structural change to the children's mental health system in Connecticut.
