This week myself, Representative Christine Conley, Mayor Passero, Council President Reona Dyess and LT Susan Bysiewicz had a press event to discuss funding that came into the City of New London. Anyone with questions can reach out via email and we can have welcome dialog

My colleagues and I delivered on our promise to lower taxes for those who need the most help. According to a report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Connecticut is a leader on tax relief for low- and middle-income earners. While other states cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations, Connecticut stands out for providing nearly $500 million in relief for individuals and families.

Had a great time at Sailfest New London City of New London, Connecticut. The New London Talent Show was amazing....so happy to see the NLT Alumni return with the New Kids on the block. Awesome vendors, and fun amusement rides.

As House Chair of Veterans & Military Affairs I am proud of our committee members helping get these important bills passed. This is just the start; we must continue to fight to help make the Iives of those who sacrificed for our country better. Thank you for your service.

I had the great opportunity to do our first End of Session Wrap up with State Representative Christine Conley and State Representative Aundré Bumgardner in the 41st District at Union Baptist Church in Mystic. Thank you to everyone who came out. We had some great conversations in regards to legislation, recommendations, and requests.

This week, I had the great opportunity to attend the signing ceremony of Governor Ned Lamont signing our state budget. I am grateful to State Representative Toni Walker, State Senator Catherine Osten, House, and Senate Leadership and several other legislators, staff, and administration that worked tirelessly to present the budget package.
