I write to share some good news. In the State Bond Commission's agenda for the July 21 meeting, they have allocated the fourth out of five installments of $20 million for the Crumbling Foundations Assistance Fund.

In my commitment to increase access to higher education, Community Colleges across the state, including Manchester Community College, will offer free enrollment for state residents.

As cases of COVID-19 continue to spike in other parts of the country, Connecticut has remained at the forefront of containing the virus. It is however important that we proceed with caution when discussing a return to a "new normal." Below are a number of updates and resources throughout the state that you can utilize.

This is a big week for Manchester and the state as we continue to follow COVID-19 developments.

The first phase – which includes restaurants; offices; hair salons and barbershops; retail stores; and outdoor museums and zoos – is currently planned to take effect beginning May 20.
