Rep. Boyd, Sen. Flexer Welcome $5 Million in State aid for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam

On the final day of the 2022 legislative session, state Senator Mae Flexer and state Representative Pay Boyd (D-Pomfret) announced that the state budget approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate and now awaiting Governor Ned Lamont's signature includes $5 million for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam to help create a new workforce pipeline for critically necessary health care personnel and to mitigate some of the hospital's revenue losses suffered during the two-year COVID-19 pandemic.

Rep. Boyd Hails State Bonding for Pomfret Library Expansion

The Connecticut State Bond Commission approved the funding during its meeting today, December 21.
