September 30, 2021The Connecticut General Assembly is scheduled to return for the regular legislative session the first week of February and in preparation, I plan to hold Office Hours and Town Hall events to meet directly with constituents to better inform myself on what is important to the residents of Northeastern Connecticut. I have been spending time this fall meeting with local businesses, municipal leaders, hospital administration, schools, and organizations to better connect the needs of our region with the government bureaucracy in Hartford.
Rep. Boyd Receives Perfect Score from CBIA for His Voting Record Supporting Pro-Business Policies
September 24, 2021State Representative Pat Boyd (D – Pomfret, Brooklyn, Eastford, Union, Woodstock) received a 100 percent score from the Connecticut Business and Industry Association for his votes during the 2021 legislative session on key legislation to grow the economy and promote job growth during the state's post-pandemic recovery. The CBIA is the largest association representing the business community in the State of Connecticut.
